With a little touch of
technology, the dirt of turkey can be changed into fuel in one center of
electric generator that now is built in Minnestosa,
USA. The electric
generating by using the dirt of turkey can produce net energy that can satisfy
the need for electricity 0f 55,00 houses. Besides that is very useful namely
fertilizer. Similar thing also has been used by three electric generator built in England, but
still in small scale. Meanwhile, the facility in Minnesota is the largest in the world and
uses the dirt of bird. Why is the dirt of turkey chosen? According to research,
the dregs and waste of turkeys is better used as fuel compared with the dirt of
pigs or cows.”The dirt of bird is a dryer fuel so it burns better,” according
to Charles Grecco, one man who was involved in the building of Turkey Power
Plant. This generator of 55 Mega-Watt is planned to burn 700,000 tons of
turkey’s dirt every year, and produce fertilizer as its by product. In this
process, phosphor and nitrate from the dirt will be used again, so it does not
pollute waters in that region.
